A Highlander sellsword by trade as warm and as welcoming as the dawn sun after the cold night. Elia, like any other member of the Ala Mhigan diaspora, is no stranger to hardship and loss. Despite this, she tries her best to maintain a sunny, warm and matronly disposition.She was raised not in Ala Mhigo proper, her family and the partisan band called "The Dust Devils" her father commanded called any cave in the rugged landscapes of Gyr Abania, Mor Dhona, and Thanalan their home. She grew up around a rather eccentric bunch of soldiers and freedom fighters, who she came to see as an extension of her family. This family of course was one that was taken too soon from her during the events of the Battle of Carteneau.Being the sole survivor of both her family in Eorzea and her cadre, she took to mercenary work in and around La Noscea to help make ends meet. These days she's almost always looking for work to keep that leaky, creaky roof over her head, and an overly sweet tropical drink in her hand.However, a certain spark was set off after she met her friends and mentors Shay Bladewander and Fihpo'ya Rilohtan. Now she seems to be illuminated by more than just Azeyma's sun.Recently she has crossed paths and has been subsequently "acquired" by the most curious Miqo'te Loh Laa, who constantly teases Elia for her "teeny" stature (despite Elia not being vertically handicapped at all).Loh introduced Elia to a Free Company called "The Nomad Aegis", where she has found not just more consistent employment as a sellsword, but more comrades to fight alongside and protect.
